Privacy Policy

Green Touch is a family-owned landscape maintenance and snow removal business based in Ogden, Utah. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit greentouchutah.com, request an estimate, or respond to one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

Estimate and contact form. When you request a free estimate on our website, we collect the information you choose to enter:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Property address
• The service you are interested in and any project details or questions you type in the message box

Facebook and Instagram lead forms. We sometimes run ads on Facebook and Instagram that include a short form (Meta calls these Instant Forms or lead forms). If you fill one out, Meta passes the information you submit to us. This is usually your name, phone number, email address, city, the service you are interested in, and for commercial or HOA requests, the business or HOA name. Meta's own collection and use of information on its platforms is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.

Calls, texts, and emails. If you call, text, or email us, we keep the information you share so we can help you.

Basic technical information. Our website is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify's servers may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address when you visit.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

Our website does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels (including the Meta Pixel), or tracking cookies. We do not set cookies to track your visits. If we ever add tools like these, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us only to run our business and serve you, including to:

• Respond to your estimate request or question
• Visit and assess your property and prepare an estimate
• Schedule and provide the services you ask for
• Send estimates, invoices, reminders, and other messages about your service
• Keep normal business, accounting, and tax records

Phone, text, and email contact

When you send us a request, we may call, text, or email you about that request and about services you have asked us to provide. We will only send you text messages or marketing emails with your consent. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop any other contact by emailing greentouchutah@gmail.com or calling 385-449-4036. Message and data rates may apply to texts.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only when needed to serve you, for example with:

• Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host (Netlify, which receives our website form submissions), our email provider, and the scheduling and invoicing software we use
• Anyone you ask us to share it with
• Authorities when the law requires it

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you, provide service, and keep the business and tax records the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you at any time. To make a request, email greentouchutah@gmail.com or call 385-449-4036. We may ask you to confirm a few details so we know the request is really from you. We will delete your information unless we must keep certain records by law, such as invoices for tax purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
